Terms of Service

Last updated April 26, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you ("you") and SiteCTRL ("we", "us") for use of sitectrl.ai and its products. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. We've kept the language plain — if anything is unclear, email [email protected].

1. The service

SiteCTRL connects three AI agents (Setup, Dev, Prod) to a website you already own. The agents read your site, propose edits, deploy to a preview environment, and — only after you approve — promote changes to production. You retain ownership of your site, your content, and your hosting account; we don't take it over.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your account credentials safe. You're responsible for activity under your account.
  • Only connect sites you own or are explicitly authorized to manage.
  • Don't use the service to send spam, host malware, infringe copyrights, or break the law.
  • Don't reverse-engineer the platform, attempt to extract another tenant's data, or bypass billing controls.
  • Comply with the AI usage policies of our subprocessor (Anthropic) — no use for generating disinformation, child exploitation material, weapons design, or similar prohibited categories.

3. Subscription + billing

  • Subscriptions are charged monthly in advance via Stripe in US dollars. Prices on the pricing page control unless you have a written agreement that says otherwise.
  • Each subscription includes a monthly LLM credit (see pricing for amounts). Unused credit rolls over up to 2× the monthly grant. Top-up purchases never expire.
  • You can cancel anytime from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't pro-rate refunds for partial months.
  • If a payment fails, we'll retry per Stripe's default schedule. After 21 days of failed payments, we suspend the account and pause the agents; data is retained for 30 days of suspension before deletion.
  • We may change prices with 30 days' notice to your account email. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current price until the next renewal.

4. AI output disclaimers

  • The AI agents make mistakes. Review all proposed changes before promoting to production. You bear final responsibility for what ships to your live site.
  • The Prod agent is gated behind a PIN you set during onboarding — keep the PIN private.
  • We log and store agent conversations to debug issues, improve prompts, and resolve support tickets. See the privacy policy for retention.
  • We aren't liable for content the AI generates that turns out to be inaccurate, infringing, or unsuitable for your use case. The same disclaimer applies if the agents deploy a change you approved that turns out to be undesired — the review gate is yours, not ours.

5. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't offer a contractual SLA on the standard tiers. We'll announce planned maintenance via the dashboard and status page. Paid plans always include the ability to roll back to a prior deploy snapshot, which works even if the platform is experiencing an incident — your live site doesn't depend on our infrastructure being up (we deploy to your hosting account, not ours).

6. Intellectual property

  • You own everything you bring (your site code, content, brand). We claim zero rights over it.
  • You own everything the agents generate while editing your site (HTML/CSS/JS edits, copy, etc) — the same way you'd own work product from a contractor.
  • We own the SiteCTRL platform itself: the agent prompts, infrastructure, dashboard, and so on. You can't resell or sublicense it.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time from the billing page. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice unless the violation is severe (e.g. abuse of another tenant's data, fraud, or a court order). On termination, your data is deleted per the privacy policy.

8. Disclaimers + liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet a specific business outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) US$100. We aren't liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, profits, or data. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes go to the state or federal courts sitting in Dallas County, Texas. If you're an EU consumer, your local statutory rights are not affected.

10. Changes

We'll update the "Last updated" date when terms change. Material changes (anything that reduces your rights or expands your obligations) are emailed to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, and you can cancel before they apply if you disagree.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms — [email protected]. We try to respond within one business day.
